Pentax DA*200mm/2.8

I am here to find out if there is any way to improve this already great lens by reducung or even illimating the annoying purple fringing at high contrast at under f5.6 with any kind of filter..

The lens is actually my favourite and I take it everywhere I can but this minor problem seems to be sometimes something I forget and it ends up really harming the quality of some wildlife shots

There isn't any optical filter that will save you here. And that's why any decent digital imaging software has a feature for reducing chromatic aberration:

Chromatic aberration - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

But there is no way around it: You have to do some post processing of those images that come out with purple finging.

The best fix is to stop talking pictures that cause fringing.
Second best is to make prints rather than looking at 100% magnifications on the screen
Third best is to learn how to remove it in post.

Will bare that in mind next time I'm talking a picture ;O)
Post was obvious, was looking for optical solution.

Thanks Stone.G!
