K-7 LCD problem

First time poster. My K-7 LCD panel developed a thin white horizontal line running the width of the panel. The line is displayed on pictures as well as info pages. removing/reinstalling the the battery and SD card didn't solve the problem. Doubt if it's the SD card as the line is present without a SD card installed. My K-7 represents my first digital camera and I am clueless as to what is causing the problem.

I agree. I will ship my K-7 to Pentax for warranty repairs.
