Tele-Converter's

Hey I was looking into a few different tele-converter's. Has anyone used a Pro-Optic Multi-Coated 2x Tele-Converter? or the Vivitar Series-1 4-Element 2x Tele Converter? How well do they work and are there any different ones that work with the kits lens?

Waak51,

I have the kit 55-300 with the Vivitar 2xMC4:

I did the "one step" PP in PSP X3. Considering the bird was all the way in the top of the tree and I was a good 40 yards from the tree I think it came out pretty good.

I used a monopod and manual focus. A task I am slowly learning.
