Vivitar 19mm f3.8... SR focal length?


19mm lens... K-x... Should I be putting 18mm or 20mm as I switch camera on?

As far as I can tell so far it makes little difference... But clarity would be good if I ever get another lens thats focal length isn't an option...
Do you go up or down in this case?

Use it for B&W street shots on both K-x and an old Pentax MG 35mm camera... Its mainly on the MG but still...

I would use 18mm. It' my understanding that the SR gets more active the longer the FL is. Best to err on the short side to avoid over compensating. Not sure that one mm would matter though. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
