[langtitle=it]Batterie cariche o scariche?[/langtitle]

Salve a tutti,

The only thing I can think of is that your camera has a faulty battery meter. Check to see if Pentax has a firmware update for your camera. My Kx had a similar problem when I first got it and a firmware update took care of it.

Same batteries or different batteries? If you are using the same batteries, they may have worn out after a number of charge-discharge cycles.

stesse batterie.
Ho provato delle panasonic non ricaricabili. Contatore pieno, 10 foto, pomeriggio spenta.
Grazie

Do not give up on bad batteries just yet even if the Panasonic batteries were new which you did not say they were. Get those rechargables out of you way for now, too many reasons they could be bad. 2500mAh means nothing if they are third party cheap or wore out. Firmware update won't help, focus on the batteries until you eliminate them as the problem. Try the following and be patient or you will go in circles and not find what the cause is.

1. Remove batteries-inspect battery contacts on inside of battery door and up at other end. clean with pencil eraser - light pressure - clean eraser. Inspect the set of contacts up in camera with flashlight for dirt, corrosion or damage.

2. Get two good (like Duracell) regular batteries and try again.

If that doesn't fix problem you have a hardware malfunction. Repair, Replace or put on shelf for decoration.

Cheap and/or worn out any kind of batteries show lots of different kinds of symptoms. You can put in 2 or 3 sets and it still would not work right. Buy best name brand AA for your camera and enjoy your camera!

Let us know how you make out.
