Black and white with *ist D

I have had my *ist D for a few years and would like to know what setting I need to use to shoot in B&W. Any tips or suggestions are most welcome. Thank you.

Moved from "ask B&H" as this would not seem to relate to B&H as such (?).

Unless I missed something in the manual, the camera has no setting for that. Anyway, you can get a better conversion than the camera would have had, using image processing software.
