D - bg2

Hi,

I was just perusing the lens data base and I came across the listing for the D - BG2. Where is the serial number located as I can't seem to find one on mine?

Regards,
Gordon.

The battery grips don't have a serial number.

Actually on mine when you remove the battery insert there is a number stamped on the upper inside of the grip. Maybe it's a batch number but it may be a serial number instead. Mine is 281107, perhaps that's a date code.

Hi mtansley,

Yes I found the number where you described. In my case it is 272304.
Thanks for that.

Regards,
Gordon.
