Re-painting Camera Parts?

I have an LX with only one blemish - a scratch in the paint on the viewfinder housing. Has anyone heard of a service that can repaint a camera part to match the original condition?

Call it a badge of honor.

I'm sure you could get it touched up if you wanted it done tidily: (And don't think you could do it yourself. if you're looking for collector's condition, it probably wouldn't make sense to have someone try and redo the whole finish.

Drat! Typed this once and it vanished into the ether.

If you're doing it yourself, a model railway shop is the place to get matching paint. If they don't have it among the gloss black, semigloss black, matt black, semimatt black, shiny black. not-so-shiny black, oily black, grimy black, track black, wheel black, Victorian engine-driver's whiskers black and all the others, then it probably isn't black!
