50MM Rear Element Seperation

I recently bought a SMC A-50MM f/1.5 lens as a part of a collection of equipment. After I got it I realized that the lens was hazy inside. I took the rear element out and found that only one lens was hazy, the front lens of the rear cluster. It would not clean up. I don't see separation lines. It looks like cataracts inside the lens.

Am I right in assuming this is 'separation' and that nothing can be done.

I do believe it is done. Not sure if at all possible to correct.

If it is separation, then the lens group needs to be separated and re-cemented using balsam. For a 50/1.4 cost would be more than the lens.
