I don't think Pentax will ever tell us if 'noise' is the reason. I mentioned this because after 20 years working with industrial position control systems using feed back, I've seen the symptoms before.

howdy, i'm playing around with the camera, and thought i'd post up the difference between SR enabled and disabled. hand-held at a distance of ~4 feet from subject.
