We have cats, and believe it or not they help. Birds will sometimes congregate to fuss at ours. I've always enjoyed shooting (photos) of nature and am having so much fun now with my K-r. I'll go out for an hour or two, come in and transfer to the computer. Wife doesn't even let on that I'm annoying as all get out
