There is no clear information in the K-5 user's manual as to which way to move the adjustment scale to correct front or back focus. So, if a lens is front focussing with the AF scale at 'Unset' or '0' should you dial in a '+' or '-' setting to correct it?
Nikon have a effective method, showing a camera icon at one end of the scale and a mountian icon at the other, to suggest movement towards or away. Michael Reichmann in Luminous Landscape says put in a minus adjustment for a front focussing lens to move the AF plane away(which is my instinct), whereas Amateur Photographer magazine, in a recent article on focus adjustment, says do the opposite, ie input a '+' setting for a front focussing lens.
You can see where the confusion arises!
