How to "weatherseal" a K-x?

Do rain sleeves really work to protect your camera? I live in a tropical country and inasmuch as budget allowed me to buy a cam I couldn't get the weathersealed Pentax ones, just a humble K-x...

Are there other ways you guys tried to prevent water/salty spray/lotsa dust from blowing into the cam? Thanks! Would really try them out too!

Remember that WR does not mean waterproof. I have a K-7 (WR) and I still protect my gears in sub-tropical rainstorms. One particular danger is lens swapping. You dont swap lenses in rainy conditions, unless in a dry place.

For your K-x, a rain sleeve would be quite suitable. Some members would use a plastic wrapping/bag, but the rain sleeve is a much better option if you want to shoot in tropical rainstorms.
