"No difference whatsoever.......hey how about I do you a good deal on my K7?" <whistle> ,
haha. I think you will be happy with either but as the K5 has come down abit in $$$ and its few teething problems sorted out GO FOR IT!
If you had a Kx or Kr already and were holding onto them the choice would be harder.

K-5 sensor is significantly improved over the K-7 sensor.
ISO 6400 images on the K-5 are as clean as ISO 1600 images on the K-7.
AF is significantly improved also, particularly in AF-C
Continuous frame rate is also faster on the K-5.
Shutter mechanism is smooth and responsive.
There are a few other reasons to go with the K-5 over the K-7 - if you're interested, go here: Pentax Cameras | Pentax K-5 vs. Pentax K-r vs. Pentax K-x - Pentax DSLR Comparison - PentaxForums.com and Pentax DSLR Reviews | In-depth camera reviews | PentaxForums.com

Yeah but the question is if "specs" and peformance are the same why will you choose a full body over a cropped sensor. Assuming that most people crop the shoots anyway.

K-5 and K-7 both have the same sized sensor, APS-C. Neither is full frame.

Not quite. The K-5 has noticeably faster autofocus, especially in low light.
