Is this dust on the sensor?

I have noticed this spot on my pictures now and again. Always in the same spot I used to think it was only relating to my zoom lens but now it is showing up on my 70mm prime pics. It is most noticable on bright blue skys or water. I daresay I have had this problem from when I purchased my K20D new. Is this dust or some other issue? Any advice on a solution will be much appreciated.
Thanks
Greg

to be sure it is dust or anything on the sensor, take a ble sky with any lense, close at f16 or f22.
At those aperture, this kind of thing will be very sharp.

This may be on the lense too.

Don't worry, it's easy to get rid of those things.

I agree it looks like dust. I have one just like it that I have not been able to get rid of. Have resorted to taking it out in PP.

Further update. I followed the 'Those Black Spots on your Photos' instructions and have managed to get rid of the dust after only one go with the blower brush. The dust mapping function is a great help. I was resigned to having to pay someone for cleaning my sensor. Thanks again.
