Hello out there!
I own a K-x and I need to put the date and time on the pictures I take for the inspections I do for work.

Date/time details embedded in the EXIF data cannot be put on the actual photo in camera. This must be done in post-processing.

As I know there is no such an option. You can set your printer up to print the date. Or there are many little free software on the web that can imprint the date with different format on the original pictures. This little request will take you a lot efforts ^_^. There is similar problems with MiniDv tape time stamp as well.

As indicated above, you need first to ensure that the date and time are correctly entered in the camera. Then all your photograph files include some EXIF data with the camera date and time.

You may use an utility like Photome (PhotoME - Exif, IPTC & ICC Metadata Editor) to read the EXIF data. The EXIF data are also viewable in PDCU and many other softwares.

To print a photo with its date and time (and GPS if info available), I advise to use XvView (XnView Software - Free graphic and photo viewer, converter, organizer). When you print a photograph, you can include a caption with the relevant EXIF data incl. date and time, XnView allows you to batch print automatically.

Hope that the info will help.
