Need to have a lens cleaned - Where to go on Long Island

Good morning everyone,

I would need to have the manual focus system of my DA 35 mm thoroughly cleaned. Would anybody know a nice and reliable shop in the Long Island area ?

[Deleted my original post. I complained about a negative experience with a local store. After I posted, I communicated the problem to the store's customer service dept. They relayed the issue to the owner and he's reached out to me. Mistakes can happen in any business ... I'll give this store another chance on a future purchase.]

By cleaning the lens, I mean cleaning the mechanism inside because the manual focus ring barely turns anymore. I am just back from a trip and some dirt might have made its way inside the lens.

I'll ask B&H then.

I'm not sure if Eric works on DA lenses but you can email him and ask. Eric is a retired Pentax tech that does great work for a fair price.
