CA with a FA77 Limited?

Sorry, Noob question. I was doing a shoot with my new FA77mm Limited on my K7 and noticed in PP that I was getting some CA in the image. I am just posting to see if this is normal.

Thanks.

It's the lens's one weakness. Take a look at the "garbage shot" here. If you look closely, you'll see a bit of green fringing on the white edge of the lychee rind.

LOL, I can live with that weakness...I love this lens. BTW if you think that is CA you should see this shot of a lizard I took with my 55-300, it was like it had a neon tube on its back!

Sometimes people like to make a big deal out of the 77's tendency to produce various chromatic aberrations - which it does, certainly - but in practice I find them not to be a big deal. Maybe my copy is just less prone to it, but I probably wouldn't notice any color fringing if i didn't know I was supposed to be looking for it on this lens.

It's typically (as it is with most lenses) most prevalent at wide open apertures on high contrast subjects especially in the out of focus areas. The green CA was one of the first things I noticed about my copy. I've said it before and I'll keep saying, I can make Any lens in my kit show similar characteristics.

True but it's easier with some lenses than others.
