Nobody mentioned this so I will. The K20D needs high speed SD cards so you need Class 6 or better (class 10). I bought 16GB Class 10 cards recently and have not seen any problem yet.

PS: Somebody had a similar problem - actually a little more severe, it was losing 1/3 of the shots without any warning. He re-installed the firmware and that fixed it.

As far as I know, the result of a slower card will only be that the throughput is slower. So you will not reach the maximum specified fps.
