DSLR body for pentax old 35-80/80-320 lenses

I have pentax MZ-5 with pentax 35-80, 80-320 lenses and 3rd party fish eye/macro lenses. Now I am interested in buying a dslr body (around 8-12 mp) compatible with these lenses.

Please suggest the possible model or alternatives.

For your first DSLR I'd recommend the K-r, unless you'd like to spend a little more ($1199) for a k-5, which would give better IQ and handling.

Check out our reviews of each camera!

Any Pentax DSLR will be fully compatible with your lenses. You can even buy an used digital camera very cheap. What model depends on your preference - some are more rugged (K10D, K20D...) some are made as light and easy to use (K-x, K-m...).
Your 35-80 is among the worst lenses ever branded Pentax, but 80-320 is good lens. I had it.

I'd say that the A35-80 is THE worst lens Pentax ever sold. But put it on a 49mm-PK mount-reversal ring (about US$6) and it's a surprisingly good macro lens.

Yes, your lenses will work on any Pentax dSLR. Check the camera reviews and comparisons in the CAMERAS menu at the top-left of this page. Or just tell us how much money you have, and we'll happily tell you how to spend it.
