What is difference between D FA Lenses and FA Lenses

Hi,

What is difference between D FA Lenses and FA Lenses ?

They are almost the same. D FA lenses are supposed to be optimized for digital SLRs but they work well on full frame film bodies as well.

Biggest difference: D-FA lenses lack an aperture ring.

There are only three D FA lenses. Two of them have an aperture ring and one does not.

DFAs are optimised for digital and have slightly cooler colour renditions.
They're also built smaller and lighter in keeping with Pentax's niche signature.
