SR and monopod?

Hi use a 300mm on my K20 for shooting everything from landscapes to birds and motorbikes. I use SR on, since there is always some movement at least. Is it correct or should I do some own research?

I always do the same - no issues at all. Let your own eyes be the judge.

I keep SR on when shooting with a monopod and my thinking is that this is particularly helpful with long lenses.

For motorsports if you are panning you should turn Sr off.
(intentional movement vs unwanted shake)
Also if you are using very high shutter speeds it is not necessary.
