What is this part?

I found this tiny part in the bottom side of my K20D, which is not described in the Manual.
Can anyone tell me what is it and its functionality? (Is it a Humidity Sensor?)

It's an index pin hole for the battery grip. Just like the hole at the upper right of your photo. The one you've circled appears to have a bit of fluff or something in the hole.

Or perhaps one of the pins from the grip?
