HDR with K-x + manual lens

Hi.
In K-x there is a feature of taking HDR photos. Does it work with full manual (old) lenses?
Thanks.

Yes and yes.

Press "info" / choose "jpeg" (botom left corner) / then, go top line, 3d from the left "HDR" /1(normal) or 2 (strong).

Then put the body in "M" mod.

chose the aperture with the lense.

do metering using either +/- or green button.

shoot.

-> the body will do different exposure using exposure time.

When doing this use a tripod as the k-x does not align the exposures.

just to ask/confirm that this can be done with any old manual lens or must it be an "A" series?? etc

you can do this with any lens. In case of non-A lens, the body will do bracketing using different speed.

Never used HDR, but is that not what one wants anyway? I mean, difference in DOF can not really be benificial to the quality of a HDR image; or do I see that wrong?

Yes, you're right.

I just very badly express my idea.
