ISO settings

I've looked through the ISO related threads and do not find the info I need.
I am a new K-r owner and while trying to familiarize myself with the various features and options I, inadvertantly, changed the ISO setting from 200 to 12800. I am not sure how I quite managed this and cannot find a manual instruction that helps me. There are mentions of this setting, but when I try to follow the steps, I get nowhere.
Help appreciated. Thanks-

HarryK

Hit the ISO button on the main dial, then use the left/right directions to change to the desired ISO

Thaanks Steve, but when I do that all that happens is that the diagram used to place focus location alters. No change occurs in ISO value.

Are you possibly pressing the exposure compensation button and not the ISO button?

Also, if you go into the status screen, you can change the auto ISO range by using the e-dial.

Hold the center button of the four way controller for a second and the picture will change from the focusing spot to the four way where you can change shutter button, iso, ect.

Adam-

Thanks for your reply.

On the 4-way button (lower right back) I am pressing the button market "ISO." I see no other button with that marking.

If your K-r is like my K-x:
Custom Setting 1
3: Expanded Sensitivity > Turn to "2"
