Can I use Vivitar TC for Canon FL-FD with Pentax DSLR

I have an old (1980's) Vivitar TC 2X-4 FL-FD from my AE-1 days. Is there a way to use with K100D? Thanks!

Simple answer is no. Really the only way to use FD gear now is on the various MILCs like the nex and m4/3 cameras. FD register is 42.0mm K mount is 45.46mm. so you would lose infinity without adding an optical element adapter. Not worth it for a TC, might be worth it for a fast 300

Thanks. Will either sell or use as paperweight.

Yes, it can be used, but not as you might expect. Remove the TC's rear mount and maybe its glass. Replace the rear mount with a cheap wide-flange M42-PK adapter. Now you can use FD lenses for macro-level shooting. Otherwise it's a paperweight. Cheers!

The registration distance probably ruins any possible use. Maybe if you had a Vivitar 2X-22, you could swap mounts to have a TC with a Pentax camera side and FD lens side, but the optics would be wrong somehow.

'Wrong' only in that infinity focus is far, far away, like the Star Wars galaxy. FD lenses are still usable -- at a couple cm away from a subject. YAML! (Yet Another Macro Lens, ay yi yi.)
