Question *istD L2

Does anyone know if this camera has a BBF (Back Button Focus). Thanks for the previous help. Turns out you have to wait until the camera beeps for it to retain focus (sometimes that takes a while)... Now I have learned something new and want to know if my camera has it...

Hi, you coud try to find it from menu. At leat Fn- button should be programmable, and Al button. It sounds that probaply just releasing your trigger half pressong, aimimg to mor contrasty area and then again half pressit, might help..? What kind a focusing mode do you use?

You can set OK-button as AF-button on *IstDL, and I suppose it's the same on *istDL2.

It's the same on the GX-1L too, (OK button for focus), so definitely should be possible on the *ist DL2.
