Issues with in-built flash with my K5

I have a K-5 & I'm having troubles with the inbuilt Flash.

I can set the camera up & take a photo - no problem - but when I pop the flash up the photo won't even focus, nor will the button allow me to take the photo.

I have tried all different settings as well as different lenses.

Has anyone else had this problem???
