Amongst Pentax cameras which would you suggest for street phtography?

That sound right to me. There is, in my opinion ,no right or wrong way as to how to look at the photo you want or the story you wish to tell.
That said. Knowing the limits and how different settings on your camera and lens ,composition, and lighting , effect your shot does help (emencly) (spelling?). Good Composition can also take a hohum shot or even a not working shot to a wow shot . So knowing the Technical's helps, but don't let them take the fun out of photography.

K-7 or K-5, because of their quiet shutters.
