Which adapter for Tamron SP 500

I have found a used Tamron SP 500 mirror lens I want to buy. (I know the pros and cons...and I still want it. LOL)

But exactly what designation of Adaptall do I need? There seem to be more than one type.

Take a look at this Tamron Adaptall 500mm f/8 SP Mirror (55B) Lens Reviews - Tamron Adaptall Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database

I have the Tamron Adaptall 500mm f8 SP mirror (55B) and use an Adaptall KM mount (the full manual) although a P/KA works as well from what I have read, but vastly more expensive and seemingly harder to find. See Hin's Tech Corner: Tamron Adaptall-2 P/KA Adapter for some great info.

The original Adaptall and the original Adaptall 2 are KM. The Adaptall 2 was upgraded to KA in 1983. KM Adaptalls sell for about $20. KA Adaptalls sell for $100 or more.

Thanks for the reference to the lens review thread. Looks like the inexpensive KM Adaptall should work with this fixed f/8 lens.
