Congratulations! Glad to hear a Pentaxian made it.
Will you be using your own equipment, meaning Pentax equipment? (or are they making you use those other guys)

I'll be able to use my K-r. They have a D3000 as well

Congrats.

Out of the two camera choices I'd take the Kr unless the D3000 has some nice glass associated with it. But then again it's really the photographer and not the equipment that takes good photos.

Now go forth and represent the Pentax Community

Yea I was gonna use my K-r anyways. I'm supposed I shoot in RAW which is fine, but what's the difference in RAW and RAW+? Don't have my manual anywhere close by. Is it just the file size and quality?

RAW is the file type. RAW+ is two files, RAW and JPG. You should check that they can deal with PEF (Pentax RAW) or set your camera to DNG (I assume the K-R can do DNG).

Ill probably set it to DNG. We use Lightroom for designing but just for sake of consistency I'll make it DNG instead of PEF

Congratulations!

Please tell us about the interview. There were some suggestions. Were any of those useful? How would you answer your original question now the interview is over, in hindsight? Thanks!

Mostly he just talked about the position and what my responsibilities would be. He asked Questions like do I work well with people, am I able to give directions and take control during a photoshoot involving multiple people, and about my hours and flexibility. I think the biggest selling point mine not photography related was that I am free during the evenings due to my class schedule and that I do most studying in the morning.

I think in hindsight I would have tried to elaborate a bit more on certain situations I've faced that could help me in certain group settings. And the personality advice is definitely good advice. I'm pretty sure he was looking for a person who can relate well with multiple different kinds of people.
