Not sure exactly where to post this link, but for those who want a reference for PDF's of genuine Pentax Operating Manuals, this link from Pentax Canada appears to be the most comprehensive:

No experience with that site, but the US counterpart used to be very unreliable resulting in corrupted PDFs. Hence I started downloading them from Operation Manuals Download : Support & Service : PENTAX

That's just digital (and the 67).

For some reason the Pentax Canada site has film camera manuals going back to the 1960's!

It has the original Spotmatic manual.

That's a treasure trove.

You can also use Pentax Manuals.com, a gift from a guy named Robin Coxon in the UK. Though he hasn't done every single manual, his scans are absolutely beautiful. Some years ago I sent him my screwmount manuals to scan.

Many of today's phones have the capability of displaying PDF files, which is handy if you want to leave your manual at home. I carry a PDF of my K5 on my Nook.

you know, you can convert that pdf to camera-compatible jpegs, copy them to an sd card and read them on your k-5's lcd.
