If you are going for a faster shutter speed you will have to put aside your 1600 ISO self imposed limit, and increase that to at least 3200 or even ISO6400. Nothing in photography comes for free, and faster shutter speeds come at the cost of increased ISO or a wider aperture (probably from a more expensive lens).
