k20d auto bracketing

when using the auto bracketing on a k20d the little line on the ev bar (on the underexposure side) on the lcd panel blinks no matter what exposure i'm using, is it suppose to do that?

If it blinks then the exposure is out of range of the EV bar.
That can be good or a bad thing depending on your purpose, if it would be your normal shot then it's not good but if it's under or overexposure shot then it might be correct depending on the EV spacing you have chosen.

called Pentax, what this means is, in custom settings i have it set for - 0 + for auto bracketing, if i had it set for + 0 - then the line on the + side would blink, if i had it set for 0 - + or 0 + - then the middle line would blink, this all means that the line that blinks is what the first exposure is going to be in auto bracketing. thanks for your input.

Not entirely, watch the line and you will see it jumps around the EV.
So with 0 - + it should go from the centre then go left and then go right so it indicates the exposure it's taken.
