K100D internal memory

Last night I took my camera while walking and got a lot of shots of wildlife. Unfortunately I wasn't wearing my glasses so didn't know the memory card wasn't in the camera. Friends have told me all cameras have internal memory. I've looked at the manual and online and can't find anything about an internal memory on K100D. If it does have a limited internal memory for photos how do I access them. I've searched for info about this for ages and can't find anything. There is nothing in the manual.
Thanks.

The K100D doesn't have any internal memory. Generally, only point-and-shoots have internal memory for some reason.

Me Too

Yes me too, I discovered this the hard way as well. Took all these wonderful shots of my 1 year old nephew. Got home and discovered that I had no memory card in the camera. I felt like a real dick.

Here are a few precautionary steps I take:
1. When I remove the SD card from the camera, I leave the compartment door open. (That's to alert me that there's no memory card in the camera.)
2. After downloading the images from the SD card, I almost always promptly return the card to the camera and close the compartment door.
3. I carry at least one spare SD card plus spare batteries in a zippered holder attached to the strap of my small camera bag. (That's in case the card in the camera fills up or is faulty. But the spare card also could save me if I realized in the field that I hadn't returned the SD card to the camera.)
By the way, I'm a K100D user.
Best wishes.
Stu
