Accidentally bought incompatible lens?

Recently bought a Miranda 24mm f2.8 lens. Just realized that the seller listed it as a 'minolta MD mount.' Am I correct in thinking this isn't going to work out?

Nope, it isn't going to mount on any K-mount camera.

If you have a m4/3's, NEX, Pentax Q (or any other mirrorless camera) you can get a cheap adapter off Ebay to use it...

There. See? All you have to do is buy another camera and adaptor and you can put your eBay lens to good use. It's pretty simple stuff, really. The choice is clear.

Give it to RioRico. He'll have a use for it.

He'll tell you it isn't worth bothering with. Sell it. Maybe even make a profit.

Now you're just being serious. Of course he can sell it, but where's the fun in that?

What else do you do with it? It's too short to use reversed, and an optically corrected adapter makes it a slow normal lens.

Like I said last time, you are being too serious in your responses, which may be fine for the original poster, but has little to do with RioRico. If you've read enough of his posts, he doesn't take himself or anything else too seriously, and is often willing to experiment.

He doesn't bother with MD, FD, or Konica AR. Contax/Yashica, Nikon non-AF, and Olympus are all fair game. Exakta bayonet too.

He also likes to say "Never argue with store clerks, burros, cops, nor head cheese."
