Thank you MSL. I will do that tomorrow.
You're welcome. But it sounds like this won't be necessary if you've solved the problem for bracketed shots. My thinking was that maybe it was some weird buffer issue, and so it would show up whether it was a bracketed burst or normal one. I'd have to check the specs on the K20d, but on the K5 you can shoot both exposure bracketing and color bracketing and so you may have set one or the other to do something weird. Doesn't really explain the white line across the images though.

A lot of questions because you have only supplied one image. We really need to see the whole set, either posted here or linked here from another site,
Please show the single shot image of the same scene and the three images from the bracketed set - and if you shoot a burst set and it does something different, those too would be good. For all, please make sure we can see the EXIF data. From this single image it looks like a sensor problem, but if the single shot image is okay, there is something more complicated.

Errrrr WOW ! mmmmm Im fairly sure this is a service repair problem !
That goes well beyond the scope WB etc.
There seems to be a strong vignette near the bottom centre too.
The white overexposed strip.... Im starting edge towards a problem with the shutter !

yep shutter looks to be a good bet, It looks like a light leak did on film, but you'd need to have done something really harsh to get a leak on digital cameras

Does it do that with all your lenses, or just one lens?

The above shot is a single shot image. Bracketed shots don't look any better. Is does look like a light leak on an old 35mm film. It does the same thing with all my lenses. I have been taking a lot of 3 shot and 5 shot bracketed photos for HDR. Maybe I overworked the shutter.

The exposure of the church is not even coming out right. I metered the church as opposed the sky. Church is too dark.

If you look... its actualy the white strip which is correct. It seems the shutter starts off ok then decides to take a break and slow down some. From what bits you can see In the white stripe the WB and everything actualy looks fine.
Its certainly a repair job. watever the cause.

Yep I noticed that too. White strip looks correct. I must have worn out the shutter. So much a rating of 100,000. I am going to check what my shutter count actually is and post the number.
