M43 on a C-Mount camera

Hello all,

Perhaps I'm trying to perform the impossible:
I'd like to connect an M43 lens to a c-mount camera.

Is that possible? was it ever done? and if so, what adapter do I need?

Thank you in advance.

The registers are close but the M4/3 is a much bigger mount diameter.
Camera Mounts Sorted by Register
The M4/3 mount would have to be in about the same position as the existing C-mount thread
It may be necessary to seriously modify either the lens or the camera.
You could consider using a PK or similar slr lens which has a longer register, allowing a simpler adaptor tube

Also here is a cine zoom lens with a longer register adapted to M4/3

Here is a home made adaptor for longer register PK lenses to M4/3 - fairly straightforward

Good luck with your project
