quick question: good buy?

A local seller in my place was selling this:

I've seen another MZ-3 (body only) some weeks ago for sale but that one had a broken mirror so I had my reservations. This one was guaranteed full working (just 10 rolls or so used), and comes with a FA43 Limited, and the seller was willing to throw in a grip + AF220T flash for free. Includes box, manuals, caps etc.

All those for around US $813 equivalent. Would you consider it a great buy?

I think it is a bit pricey in my opinion. For me, to be a good buy, it ought to be around $650 or so.

Sounds like it's at least $100 overpriced. The FA43 is Made in Japan, which some people prefer, but it's certainly not rare.

However, try the FA43 on your K-x and take a look at the shots at home. If it seems like a great copy of the lens it might be worth bargaining for it to get a better price.

I agree, you can get the cameras really cheap. Right now I have a ZX-30, SF10, ME Super, and a Mamiya Sekor 500DTL sitting around that I haven't even tried. I bought them all for the attached lenses. The most expensive was the SF10 and the AF Tamron 28-105 attached.
