arctic butterfly vs. Replacement head

I was reading the visibledust website and they show the replacement head for 1/2 the price of the arctic butterfly.
My question is...
Could I not just use the head without the rotating handle and charge the brush head myself and save money?

Seems an extra 50 dollars for a handle that rotates is a lot. Could you also just twirl it in your hand to get the same effect?

Thanks

Randy

It is a lot of money, however, having the handle stops your hand or fingers getting so near the brush or inside the camera and contaminating it and it may take quite a twirl to charge it up (or whatever it's supposed to do).

(Not implying that your hand or fingers are anymore contaminated than anyone else's, though.)

How do you plan to charge the brush then?

Anyway i'm using the articbutterfly for 3 years now and i'm still using the first brush and handle, so really what's $50 over 3 years time.

Just out of curiosity, how often have you needed to use yours?

I've had mine for about the same time & only needed it a couple of times. (It still rides in my main camera bag though, just in case.)

With their simple sensor brush, they state you can charge it with a stream of air, like a blower

Thanks
