Lens compatibility

Hi there,

Wondering if anyone could advise me - I just purchased a Gemini Wide Angle f2.8/28 mm lens for Pentax on ebay. I have a Pentax K-x. The lens is certainly mechanically compatible (with the same bayonet lock) but I can't get the camera to fire. The f-stop icon continually flickers with F---

Did you enable aperture ring use in the menu?

Thanks guys. I enabled aperture ring priority and got it working in manual mode. Cheers, Andrew Martin
