CIF -- lenses incompatible with this option?

I am quite sure now that some lenses, well at least one, are simply not compatible with the Catch in focus option in the K7/K5 cameras.

I have tried everything with the Tamron SP Di 90mm Macro and it is the ONLY lens of my collection which will not "accept" CIF.
A great lens with superb IQ but ... I was trying to take shots in (lens) manual mode and CIF at once: no luck.

Any thoughts on this?

Are there more such lenses not working with CIF?

Is this an autofocus lens? Then you must press the lens-lock button and the shutter at the same time.

This is a lens that requires to push-pull on the barrel in order to go AF/manual.
