subtle or strong correction for tungsten white balance ?

just saw this setting for strong or subtle white balance correction on the k-5, which do most of you use ? ( course i only shoot jpeg )

I would use the one that provides the best results most of the time, though a) I rarely shoot in tungsten, and b) I always shoot RAW.

Just test it out and pick what you like. Most settings are subjective anyway.

Well, if the white balance really matters, and you must shoot JPEG, then an Expo Disc would be ideal. In fact, shooting JPEG is a great example of why an ExpoDisc is sometimes more than just a convenience.

I would probably have mine on subtle, because I often keep a little bit of the tungsten effect in when I process. The correct white balance sometimes has the wrong mood. I would do some test shots to see what it really does. Light bulbs can have almost any color temperature these days and any auto feature might not do what you expect under all circumstances.

the k-x i had worked best on the strong setting for indoor shots usually, didn't realize the k-5 had the same setting. always have used the default which pretty sure is the subtle setting on the k-5; guess i will try it on strong setting for a bit and see if there is much difference. just wondered what others have used. thanks.

Strong works best for me on both my K-x and K-5
