AF/MF button stuck

After a bit of a tumble while mountain biking the AF/MF button is stuck on my K-m. AF still works but the button is actually stuck in the MF position.

I've tried a different lens and tried switching with lens removed but no joy. I've been thinking about a possible upgrade to K5 or K-30 but was hoping I could trade in my K-m. Any ideas or has my K-m officially gone to camera heaven? Any advicce greatfully received.

(if I do upgrade the new camera will be staying safely at home when I go out on future rides

The AF/MF button retracts the screw drive when in MF. Take a look and see if something is keeping the drive from moving in and out. Possibly just a bit of grit, or maybe something is bent there.

The button seems to move now and still makes a positive click but still does not seem to go into MF. I think I can see the screw drive pin and moving the AF/MF button does not move it.

Sounds like the K-M would still be useful for taking on rough trips and a new K-30 for more peaceful excursions

Boker- my thoughts exactly. having got over the initial disappointment I think the K-m will be my "danger" camera when biking/snowboarding and the new model (K5/K30) will be cherished and kept safe :-)
