Did I just kill my *ist DL?

Just got hold of a Samsung GX-1L (rebranded *ist DL2) to replace the camera I killed. It's in nice condition but shows about twice as many shutter actuations as my late lamented *ist DL. I'm looking forward to picking up where I left off and you better believe that come hell or high water, I. WILL. NOT. UPDATE. THE. FIRMWARE!!!!!
