Selling my K-5

I have a question about selling K-5. maybe next year, pentax will release K-5(2). I have used K-5 for 1 year. I want to sell my camera and change to K-5(2). K-5(2) have support SDXC, no filter in sensor, and upgraded from K-5.

but I don't know what should I do before I buy that camera.

Where should I sell thin for safer and faster?

IMO- hang on to your K-5 at least until reviews of the K-5 II come in.

You can sell it here at the Marketplace.
I'm betting a lot of K-5 would be up for sale if the reviews of the new ones (K5 II & IIs) are good.

My take on selling camera bodies is to call it on anything less than 1/2 the original value.

ie. if you payed 1500 for a body that is now selling for less than 700, then your better off holding onto it imo. - but that's just me.

Good advice, K5 is still a great tool, there are people still shooting the "ist" and putting their monies towards wonderful lenses.

Any bets on what a used K5 will price will be once the K5(II) hits?
I am having a time putting money back for a DSLR. My eye is on the K5, but getting antsy and thinking of doing the K20 and focus on lenses. But if I can get a K5 for under 500, may need to wait.

Thoughts?

I am using a Pentax ZX-7 SLR now, and pretty much photography is on hold to save for the DSLR.

I doubt very much that the K-5 will fall below the price of the K-30.

The K-5 will probably end up being in the $500-$650 range once it goes out of stock at retailers. I don't expect it to fall any lower until the K-5 II starts selling for under $900.
