K-5, had to remove battery to stop movie

I was taking a movie but when I pressed the shutter button to stop, the hourglass showed on the back screen but the camera froze. The only way to stop was remove the battery. The camera worked again but the movie didn't record. Happened twice then went away. Any advice?
