K10D aperture control error

Hi!

I've got a problem with my camera. When I setting up aperture on the body, and then press the shutter, the camera don't set up the correct apperture, but shot in wide open. I tried 2 of my af-lens, and both generates same problem. I've got a 50mm f1.7, that works like a dream in manual mode.
When I use my 18-55 kit lens, it works just f3,5-5,6 only. Contacts are cleared both the lenses, and the body too.
Any idas? I have to give my body to service?

Does the lens stop down when you use the optical DOF preview?

No. I tried both two af-lenses. But on my manual lens the optical DOF preview is working.

Are the lenses at minimum aperture when removed from the body?

Yes they are on minimum. There is a DA-L 18-55 kit, and a 100-300 F5-6.3 Tamron telephoto lens. They are not stucked.

How about resetting the custom function menu?

Ok, I tried a menu reset. Same problem. But! If i set in the custom menu in "using aperture ring" point to Prohibited, the DA-L kit lens is not working too... So, the body knows the kit lens as a manual lens????

Tried a HSM lens on the body, thats works perfectly, as the manual lenses, but the screw drive af lenses not.

My K10D did that -- wouldn't stop down but once in a while it would. For instance if I put it on continuous shooting and set it for f8, I might get 4 blown out shots and one exposed correctly. But most of the time blown out. Optical preview was also hit-or-miss. Sent it to CRIS and got a new "aperture control block" for about $110 I think. Works perfectly now...
