mount help (last kick at the can)

could someone please help me identify which adaptall mount this is. one pick shows with the adaptor off (it's a minolta adapter) and one which the adapter near it.
I want to buy the adapter but don't want to waist my money on the wrong one

the mount, unfortunately you show the lens side not camera side, appears to be a screw mount (M42) for Spotmatic F and ES II because it has an apperture setting linkage (and little gear) for open aperture metering

since I bought the tamron 300 5.6 for 20 dollars, putting another 20 for an adapter still seems like a good gamble.... looks like it is a tamron adaptall for minolta sr-t model camera

SLR Lens Mount Identification Guide

Should help. Good pictures of most mounts. If you hold it with the red dot straight up, the Minolta should have a notch in the ear of the mount flange that sits to the right of the red dot.
