Embarassing Vintage Pentax Issue

As noted above the value, if any, is in the lens not the camera body. Most likely it is a common lens and the $100 is too much for that body with the standard lens. It would need a CLA before using which might double the cost. However, if the lens is worth anything that's a different story.

Yes, others are right. If there is value in that, the lens may be worth just 50 bucks, or 100 bucks, or even two-fold or three-fold that depending on what it is. I was able to find a rare Soligor 135 f2.5 in PK mount the other day for 5 bucks at Salvation Army.

You also mentioned a light meter. Any details on the light meter? That could be worth $100 by itself, depending on what light meter it is.

Or keep the one you have now, since you have already paid for it, and have fun with it. This is all about having fun, not how much you overpaid for something. If it works, use it. I have a Spotmatic F here that I plan on running a roll or two through one of these days, just for fun. It's even older than your K1000.
